Online writing is a fantastic home based work opportunity. You can write your own blogs (on Blogger or Wordpress or whichever other platform you prefer). Bear in mind that there are some distinct advantages to owning your own blogs(You do not own your Blogger blogs, but you do own your Wordpress blogs.) If you have any interest in blogging, especially niche blogging, you will want to read every article you can find on the topic because it really is an art (and a science) unto itself. There are, of course, a wide variety of coaching programs and membership programs that you can try, but there is also a lot of free information about niche blogging available to you if you do your research online. Not only that, but there is also a lot of excellent free information (and video tutorials) available about how to set up a Wordpress blog properly (or a Blogger blog, if you really prefer not to purchase a domain name.) In other words, if you are short on cash, but you are interested in this particular type of work at home job (blogging and/or niche blogging), you can still learn a great deal of what you need to learn via careful online research and study.

One of the good things about a hosting service like Hostgator is that it is not terribly expensive and when you own your own domain, you have a lot of freedom to do with it what you want without worrying that your blog could be shut down by someone else. (This can happen with a blog that you don’t own yourself.) Something that is very important to keep in mind with blogging and/or niche blogging is that it really is not a get rich scheme. You will not get rich overnight. But, if you work hard and you work steadily, you can gradually build up your online income with this very real home based work opportunity.
