Misleading Customer Service Kills Your Business

There are a few different message boards and online communities geared toward people who work at home. Two of the most reputable ones are WAHM.com and WorkPlaceLikeHome.com. What exactly is so valuable about these websites? Well, for starters, they are filled with people who have been working from home for a while (or exploring ways to work from home). They will talk very honestly about their own personal experiences working for specific work at home companies. And it is these nuggets of information that are worth their weight in gold.

Let’s say you have a professional background in customer service and you want to work as home in the customer service field. On these websites (especially the WorkPlaceLikeHome.com one), you can read about specific companies that hire customer service reps to work out of their home offices. Not only will you read about how to apply to these companies, but you will also read about the actual experiences people are having as work at home employess of these companies. Do they get paid on time? What is the supervision like? Are there scheduling issues or problems? What is the training program like? Typically, the answers to all of these questions (and many more) are all right there for you to find on the message boards.

Another big plus, these message boards are not filled with online marketing salespeople trying to push various make money online or work at home opportunities down your throat. Rather, they are full of regular people, just like you and me, who are interested in working at home. No one is pushing you or pressuring you to do anything…. or to buy anything from them. That is a major advantage in my book. Honest reviews of actual work at home jobs combined with a low key, no pressure, no selling atmosphere make these places fantastic sanctuaries for you to visit whenever you need advice and information about specific work at home companies, as well as a sense of camaraderie with your fellow home based workers.
