Lately, of all the various online writing sites, the one I am enjoying the most is writing for InfoBarrel. I think it is because I feel like I have a lot of freedom when I write there. I can write “blog-style” and that is what feels most comfortable for me. I know a lot of people feel the way I feel about Infobarrel about Squidoo or HubPages or other sites. But for me, at least at the moment, Infobarrel feels like the best fit.

I also happen to really like the forum at Infobarrel. There is a feeling of fun and friendship at that place. So many online forums have a sort of snarky, nasty feeling to them, but not Infobarrel. That place is positively brimming with positivity and good feeling. People there genuinely try to help one another, providing each other with truly useful tips about writing online, about how to use search engine optimization techniques, about how to improve their skills and how to make more money online. All in all, the sense of freedom, combined with the friendly nature of the place (and in particular the forums) makes for a great writing site.
